Ruth Cugelman
Born in Toronto and raised by a second-generation Eastern European family, Ruth Cugelman produced hundreds of works focused on feminine beauty, spirituality, family and nature. Her life was difficult; it was dominated by a mental illness that disfigured her life and fuelled her art.
